FFVII - Sephiroth's katana | FOR SALE by MajorasMasks FFVII - Sephiroth's katana | FOR SALE by MajorasMasks
Swords I made so far:

SALES AND COMMISSIONS INFO

JULY 2011 UPDATE: Since I waited for two whole years and I still didn't received the remaining part of the payment from the client, who completely disappeared not replying to my e-mails, I'm now selling this sword. Please contact me if you are interested.

Masamune wielded by Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII, originally commissioned by Aion.

I love it, it's huge but light, and working with wood is hard but really satisfying. :D
My father helped me to cut the main form (just because it was the first sword I ever made, and I didn't want to risk), but I mostly did it by myself.

Lenght: around 1,80 m
Weight: around 3 Kg
Materials: wood, fabric, acrylics, water glaze

P.S. Please download to see the full-size image.

What's the dimension of the sword? Does it wobble?

It's around 1,80 meters, it's written in the artist's comment.  ;)

And no, it doesn't wobble since it's a wooden sword...  ^^'

I've the sword wrapped right now, anyway it should be around 4,5 x 1,5 cm for the blade.  :)

What do you mean by "real"? _

If you are asking if it's made in metal, it isn't; but it's a wooden sword and there are other details of its size and more in the artist's comment.

The sword itself 75 euro, plus shipping costs that can vary depending on where you live. To lover shipping costs to less than 100 euro I should modify the sword to make it shorter.

Whoops sorry about that. Is it 180cm? How much is it? I live in the UK so how much would it be for delivery?

:iconmajorasmasks:
MajorasMasks Featured By Owner Mar 8, 2013  Professional Artisan Crafter
It's price is 75 euro but delivery to UK would costs a lot (around 180 euro) since the sword is really long and only couriers would accept it.
Otherwise, I could modify the sword to make it a bit shorter (around 150 cm long) and in this case the shipping (by International Fast Parcel) would cost you just around 40-50 euro (to estimate the exact price I would have to check the weight of the package, but I can't do it now since by making the sword shorter it will be less heavy too, of course, so I can't know in advance).

I will reply to your note as soon as I can check current courier prices... anyway, if you live in Texas please let me know since I could have a friend delivering it to you (I think it would cost much less, that way). I'm not sure he will be able to take it with him when he will go back to the USA, though, so don't count too much on it.

Hi, I'm Italian but I ship worldwide, and I can sell you this sword since the person who commissioned it to me disappeared for years and I'm not willing to wait anymore for him to finish to pay this commission. -__-'

So, if you want it, please send me a note so that we can discuss details. :)

I make them on commission. I made this one for a person, more than one year ago, but he still has to pay the second half... -__-'

So, I'm thinking of selling this to another person. Are you interested, by chance? ^^

I can sell it to you for 75 euro + shipping. It's quite long (180 cm) but its weight is only about 3 kg. Also, it's completely made out of wood (and fabric on the hilt). :)
