My entry for :iconasl-fanclub:'s "WHAT IF...?" contest ([link]).
I had to depict Ace, Sabo and Luffy from One Piece in an alternate scenario, so I chose to invert their social status: What if Ace and Luffy were the nobles, and Sabo the outcast? What if the "D" were the first letter of the name of an ancient, noble family the current nobles in the canon story decimated in the past? Furthermore, what if Ace and Luffy were biological siblings? Even so, I don't think the relationship between the three of them would have changed, and I believe they would have done the brotherhood oath anyway. On a side note, to have more fun representing them, I drew Luffy as if he wasn't sure of his noble origins and couldn't lie about them, while Ace, instead, seems to appreciate his his elegant outfit! XD Finally, Sabo is just enjoying his freedom (notice the feather... I love his dream of becoming a writer!) ^^
By the way, this is my very first OP fanart (collaborations and fanfics aside) and I was really happy to start with the characters (and relationship) I like most in this manga/anime. I :heart: ASL!

They style I used is the Zelda - The Wind Waker one, and I'm willing to draw any character (even non Zelda ones) in The Wind Waker and other "toon" Zelda games style, just like the examples below. Points commissions are now closed, anyway I'm willing to offer a discount on the normal price for the first three people who will commission me One Piece fanarts, even if fan-characters! :eager:

Cool idea! The plot would be really different if Luffy was a noble....would he still be a pirate?

I know, but I purposely chose a slightly different colour for his hair since in this alternate timeline his hat is yellow, too. ;)

i cant remember the names i havent watched one piece for about 3 years but if i had to choose it would have to be the one on the far left

The shortest one? He's Luffy, the main character. ^^

I suggest you to read the manga if you can: the first half is a masterpiece, and the second half is shaping up great! :D
